Primary Purpose: Provide HR expertise, manage HR staff, and provide support to the customer care team(s).
Duties/Responsibilities: • Serves as consultant to employees and management on Human Resource related issues. • Participates in establishment of long-range objectives for the organization, partnering with
senior management to identify immediate and long term needs. • Develops & implements retention plans. • Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce turnover and increase employee morale. • Interprets policies and procedures and ensures company adherence to federal and state laws
related to the HR functions; serves as liaison with private and state agencies, outside vendors, etc. • Determine needs with respect to employee and supervisory training in the Human Resources arena
and implement training. • Investigates sexual harassment allegations, discrimination charges, disputes and other sensitive
issues for the site and coordinates with HR Director on appropriate responses. • Reviews, recommends and implements improved policies, procedures and tools after approval by
HR Director. • Establishes and monitors HR metrics. • Acts as Key advisor to group HR staff. • Develops group HR staff. • Serves as quality control point person for HR-related paperwork. • Assists with new employee orientation facilitation. • Administers applicable benefits programs with HR Representative.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements: • A minimum of five years' experience as an HR generalist (or three years as an HR Manager) with an
emphasis on employee relations - preferably in a customer service oriented environment. • College experience desired; Bachelor's degree preferred. • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws. • PC skills (MS Office knowledge desirable) • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and customer service skills. • Problem solving capabilities • Management experience • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
